When I was a senior at Canisus College, I took an amazing class about typography. Blondie is the final project I did for this class, based on a poem that my roommate wrote. My idea in for this design was to create twelve squares and design the poem with emphasis on specific parts of the text. The story in this poem is true, and I have always felt a deep connection with it because of my work with wedding photography. As a part of this project, I took a photo of my roommate and her boyfriend, who played the part of the man and his wife in the poem. Of all of the projects I did in design school, this was my all time favorite, which is why I feel the need to keep it in my portfolio.
